FootBasket:
Indianapolis Colts head coach Chuck Pagano is seriously living by being #CHUCKSTRONG. After being diagnosed with a treatable form of leukemia last month, the Colts coach has made significant progress lately.
In fact, just this past week, interim head coach Bruce Arians noted to the media that Pagano was out of the hospital and attended a coaches meeting with the team. He is set for another round of chemotherapy next week, according to the Indianapolis Star, but that won’t stop him from rooting on his team against the Miami Dolphins on Sunday.
According to Colts owner Jim Irsay, seeing Pagano at Lucas Oil Stadium this Sunday for that game is a definite possibility, as he wrote on Twitter:
Chuck is so strong n is endowed with his strength of more than 10 Monsters, that if u happen 2 c him @ LOS on Sun;u wont b imagining things
— Jim Irsay (@JimIrsay) November 2, 2012
This would definitely create an emotional moment for the Colts locker room, as they look to ride on to a 5-3 record this Sunday to increase their playoff chances. Having Pagano there would definitely motivate them even more, just like it has been for them for the past few weeks.

Richards: Colts Injury Report, Mixed Feelings
There's good news; there's bad news. According to Phil Richards, the Colts will be without Coby Fleener and Vontae Davis this Sunday. Davis has a sprained knee (glad we got him back, eh?), and Fleener's slightly dislocated his left shoulder. Actually, according to Richards, it's a subluxation, or temporary, partial dislocation of his left shoulder. In other news...
AP: Colts RB Donald Brown making most of 2nd chance
Gosh dang it, Donald. We're sorry. 1742 career rushing yards (mostly as a backup) with a 4.2 average ypc, a vast majority of those yards coming after contact, and the hard-charging Donald Brown still gets a bad rap. (Bear with me, the link is coming)
Michael Marot of the Associated Press did a story on Donald Brown's resurgence, which many believe is thanks in part to...
AP: Mathis to Return Sunday
As a slight followup to the last link, it's been confirmed: Robert Mathis is expected to take the field against Miami. According to the Associated Press:
The four-time Pro Bowl player expects to play Sunday against Miami after missing the previous three games with a knee injury. ''That's the plan,'' he said Thursday. ''Looking forward to being out...
Bell: Wayne's Take on Luck
Reggie Wayne has been a leader for the Colts this year, in both his on-field play and his mature press-handling. Jarrett Bell's article on how Wayne views the Luck/Manning comparison brings the veteran's thoughts to light. According to Wayne:
"I'm glad I stayed, to help [Luck] create his own legacy. He's going to have to win some games, win some rings, before...
Richards: Reitz to Start
Over at The Indianapolis Star, Phil Richards reports on the continued shuffling of the Colts offensive line. Indianapolis has dealt with so much injury and instability along the offensive line that when Joe Reitz finally came back from his injury, Arians chose to keep Jeff Linkenbach in for continuity. Now Linkenbach is injured, and the shuffling begins anew.
The Colts started...

Matchup Spotlight: Winston Justice vs. Cameron Wake
As the Colts look to face Miami this week in Indianapolis, one of the primary matchups that may decide the result of the game will be the Dolphins' left defensive end Cameron Wake versus the Colts' right tackle Winston Justice.
Although Justice had a down game last week, allowing six hurries and one hit, he's had a very good year thus far in pass protection. Before...
Colts LB Dwight Freeney Likely Playing His Last Season In Indianapolis
For a Colts defense that has not made enough big plays and consistently fails to get to the quarterback, Pro Football Weekly hears the pressure is increasing on OLB Dwight Freeney, who, in a contract year, has been a complete nonfactor as he transitions to a new position. In his defense, Freeney suffered a high ankle sprain early in Week One and missed the next two games. However...

Colts Downgrade RB Donald Brown's Status To Questionable
The Indianapolis Colts say running back Donald Brown is questionable for Sunday's game against Miami.
He had been listed as probable most of this week after returning last weekend following in-season knee surgery, but team doctors found swelling in the knee Saturday.
Team officials now say Brown will be re-evaluated before Indy (4-3) turns in its list of inactive players...
AFC South Preview: Colts, Dolphins Hungry For Playoff Spot
Miami @ IndianapolisWhy Should I Care? The 4-3 Dolphins currently hold the fifth seed in the AFC. The 4-3 Colts, by way of what I bet is a very complex tie breaker, hold the sixth seed in the conference. These two teams have suddenly emerged as dark-horse playoff contenders. This matchup will decide who is able to hold on to that coveted playoff spot for at least one more week.By...
Miami Dolphins at Indianapolis Colts: Week 9 NFL Pick
Miami Dolphins (4-3) at Indianapolis Colts (4-3)
Both of these teams sit at 4-3, meaning this game could easily have playoff implications and one or both of these teams could make the playoffs. I bet you didn’t see that coming. I would say these teams are pretty equal. I had Miami ranked 10th in my Power Rankings and Indianapolis ranked 11th. However, for some reason, Miami is...
