Cincinnati Bengals tight end Jermaine Gresham and teammate Andrew Whitworth (LT) have been added to the 2013 Pro Bowl roster. Both were originally voted as first alternates.Gresham, who is making his second trip in as many years, will be replacing the injured Pittsburgh Steelers tight end, Heath Miller, who tore an ACL in Pittsburgh's Week 16 loss to Cincinnati.Whitworth is making his first appearance, replacing the Denver Broncos' offensive tackle, Ryan Clady, who played with an injured shoulder in the Broncos' upset loss to Baltimore in the Divisional round of the playoffs. At 6' 5", 260 pounds, Gresham, who wears No. 84, has proven difficult for opposing defenses to cover, with the length and athletic ability to get up and over defensive backs, and even harder to get on the ground as his size, along with a powerful stiff-arm helps to generate a lot of yards after the catch. These traits allowed him to haul in 64 receptions for 737 yards and five touchdowns, top...

Bengals left tackle Andrew Whitworth has been added to the Pro Bowl squad, replacing Denver's injured Ryan Clady. Whitworth was a first alternate for the Jan. 27 game in Honolulu. It'll be Whitworth's first trip to the Pro Bowl. The seventh-year lineman has started every game for the Bengals since 2009. His streak of 67 straight starts is the longest on the team. The...

Andy Dalton throws away Bengals playoff chance

Déjà vu? It was Andy Dalton’s second chance to shine in his hometown of Houston and in the end, it turned out much like the first one. The Cincinnati Bengals quarterback had one of his worst games as a rookie when he threw three interceptions when the Houston Texans knocked the Bengals out of the playoffs in 2012. Now, one year later, Andy Dalton did it again. Finishing the...

Potential 2013 Cincinnati Bengals roster changes

The 2012 season is over for the Cincinnati Bengals, and now we look onto the potential 2013 Cincinnati Bengals roster changes. The Bengals will potentially have 27 players saying goodbye this offseason, and that’s a tall order to fix in the offseason. The number one player the Bengals need to re-sign is Andre Smith. Smith had another strong year after his breakout season in 2011...

Cincinnati Bengals 2013 NFL Team Needs

Team needs and impending free agents for the Cincinnati Bengals.

Focus On: Linebackers

This is the first in a series of articles looking through each of the position groups with an eye toward free agency. And why not begin with one of the lightning rods for this team? Rey Maualuga: unrestricted free agent Often a liability, he should not be the middle backer next year. But I say he will be a Bengal in 2013. [Collective groan.] Face it. Rey will draw zero interest,...

WDW Episode 96 – 2012 Season Wrap Up

2012 was a great year to be a Bengals fan! They made the playoffs in back to back years for the first time in 30 years. That’s amazing. The Bengals are an up and coming team STILL and they play in a division where the rest of the players are turning into grumpy old men. Ed Reed, Troy Palamalu can’t play forver. Its guys like Ray Rice, Antonio Brown, Mike Wallace that scare me...

Focus On: Quarterbacks

There will be plenty of angst from certain quadrants of Bengals Nation in regards to Andy Dalton over the next 6 months. The pessimists among us are plentiful and proud. But are they right? Will certain fans try to sack Dalton during the off-season?Andy Dalton: signed through 2014 2012 was a mixed bag for Andy Dalton. He improved in most important stats: TDs thrown (+7), yds thrown...

Who do we like this weekend in the playoffs

Ok, so the Bengals are out. However, NFL football is still going on and like us, most of you will be watching. Who do you root for? Personally I am torn. Part of me wants to root for the Ravens. My reasoning is that they are a division opponent and whats good for the division is good for the Bengals. The Bengals will get to play them twice next season and it would be nice to beat...

Sometimes the party begins up to 10 hours before kickoff so you’d better be prepared. Dhani shows us that not everyone can always be the most prepared. In fact there’s gonna be some fumbles along the way. Enjoy this humorous look at...
