Buffalo went ahead and made the first shock of the draft when they chose C.J. Spiller with the ninth pick in this draft. I remember a few weeks ago when I wrote in an article to just keep it in the back of our heads and entertain the thought of Buffalo drafting Spiller. I DIDN’T THINK THEY WOULD ACTUALLY DO IT. Spiller is a good player and can bring instant electricity to Buffalo’s offense. But, with two running backs on the roster in Fred Jackson and Marshawn Lynch, and with Buffalo saying that Lynch will not be shipped out, Where does that leave Spiller. Does this mean Jackson is on his way out? It is possible.
With Jimmy Claussen still on the board it is not out of the realm of possibilities that Buffalo takes a run at him in the second round. Jackson could be used to move up in the draft or to get an additional pick in it. But if Buffalo goes into camp with all three backs, what do they do? Offense can really only be created by one back at a time, so who get...
