Waiting For Next Year:
According to the PD, the Browns have hired former Rams WR coach Nolan Cromwell. Cromwell is being called a ‘Senior Offensive Assistant’. Cromwell served under Pat Shurmur in St. Louis, and also under Mike Holmgren in both Green Bay and Seattle.
Cromwell also worked under Mike Sherman, who is believed to be a candidate for the offensive coordinator position. It is worth noting that the Rams’ offense did not strike fear into the hearts of men last season. They finished dead last in touchdown passes with 9, and averaged 5.9 yards per reception. For reference the Browns averaged 5.8 yards per catch.
Cromwell was a four time Pro-Bowl defensive back for the Rams in the late ’70′s and ’80′s. He was named All-Pro three times in his career.

Ken Meringolo of SB Nation’s Hog’s Haven has the scoop.
Relatedly, the Cleveland record for draftiness in January has officially been shattered. Every year it gets draftier and draftier, earlier and earlier. Al Gore needs to make a movie about this.
So what did I miss the past two weeks?
For the Seahawks, not much. And that's remarkable.
For the first time since 2001, Seattle was not either a) in the playoffs, or b) making a significant front-office move.
Seriously, go back, look it up. After the 2002 season, Mike Holmgren got defrocked of GM responsibilities. In 2003 through 2007, the Seahawks were in the postseason. After...
