Sports fans often revolve their lives around their favorite team, but one Cleveland Browns fan took the term “fanatic” a step further — he wanted his funeral to have a sports theme, also. The late Scott E. Entsminger of Mansfield, Ohio, was a typical sports fan. A hard-working, blue-collar fellow who gave 32 years of service to General Motors. He was a lifelong Cleveland Browns fan and season ticket holder — he even wrote a song each year and sent it to the team, as well as offered other advice on how to run the squad. Entsminger died at age 55 on July 4, and included a cheeky dig at his favorite team in his obituary in The Columbus Dispatch.  Having seen his beloved Cleveland team go through many ups and downs in his lifetime, Entsminger had one dying wish: “He respectfully requests six Cleveland Browns pall bearers so the Browns can let him down one last time,” the obituary said. The Browns heard about Entsminger’s request and contacted his widow, Pat, and found out that his favorite player was Hall of Famer Lou Groza, according to NFL.com. The team arranged for a No. 76 Groza jersey with Entsminger’s name on the back to be presented to the family Tuesday.
