Well the Cleveland Browns and Mike Holmgren had a chance to move forward with top talent, but they fumbled that away. The list of coaches now go Chris Palmer, Butch Davis, Romeo Crennel and Eric Mangini. Now add Pat Shurmur to the list. Now do not get me wrong Shurmur is a good coach, but the Browns could have hired a guy with more experience. I think in a few years the Browns will be going down this same path again.
It seems the Browns never get it and that is a shame. Hiring Shurmur in my opinion was just not a good move. I would have seeked out someone that had more experience and a proven winner. I guess the Browns are happy winning four or five games a year and the way it looks that will continue for awhile.
