Post Draft AnalysisThe Cleveland Browns entered the 2013 Draft targeting Alabama cornerback, Dee Milliner, but we realized there was a really good chance he wouldn't be there at six.As it turned out, Milliner went to Detroit with the fifth overall pick. With Milliner off the clock, we had to resort to plan B. Knowing before hand that trades would not be allowed, we went back and forth on a few players, before taking our guy.Our ideal option would have been to drop back a few picks in the first and pick up a second round pick, but instead we will welcome Georgia outside linebacker, Jarvis Jones, to the Cleveland Browns organization.Jones will join a young Browns defense that is aggressive and ready to prove themselves. The Browns as a whole have gone through numerous changes over the past year; from a new owner to a new coaching staff and front office, to new free agent signings like OLB Paul Kruger and DT Desmond Bryant. In all, the Browns have signed nine free agents this off-season, with quarterback Jason Campbell being the most recent.Rob Chudzinski is the new head coach and he brought former Cardinals defensive coordinator Ray Horton in for the same position. In doing so, they will be switching from the 4-3 base defense that has been run the past two seasons, back to the 3-4 base defense.Jones will see playing time immediately splitting reps on the strong side. Kruger will likely play strong-side outside linebacker and Jones could play inside Kruger, right beside D'Qwell Jackson and that would leave Jabaal Sheard as the weak-side linebacker. With the talent the Browns now have in their front seven, they should be able to apply pressure to any quarterback they go up against. Jones will fit in perfectly with what they are trying to do, by developing an aggressive, go after the quarterback, style defense. Now with the front end secure, we need to focus on strengthening the secondary and finding a cornerback to complement Joe Haden.
