NFL Draft Zone:
Yesterday just 24 hours after being released by the Philadelphia Eagles, Stony Brook running back Miguel Maysonet was claimed again. This time by the Cleveland Browns. While people say it is a crowded backfield, Maysonet could be a guy that runs a veteran out of town. The dynamic 5’9 power back was a killer in the FCS. He ran all over teams, putting up over 2000 yards on the ground. Maysonet finished second in voting for the Walter Payton Award which is given to the best FCS football player. Maysonet is super ready for this opportunity and cannot wait.
“I’m Flying in tonight and will be ready to make an impact.” Maysonet said
Maysonet is a beast running back and one of my favorite backs in college football. With Miguel being claimed the Browns freed up a spot by releasing another small school running back Jamaine Cook from Youngstown State.
BEST OF MAXIM
One of the last guys on the Browns practice field Thursday admits he's basically a lost guy.
With just two days in the books, Miguel Maysonet is playing from behind.
An undrafted rookie running back claimed on waivers earlier this week from the Eagles, Maysonet arrived in Cleveland on Tuesday night. He showed up at Browns Headquarters early Wednesday, took a physical and then...
A Pro Football Talk report surfaced a few hours ago that the Browns will release Thaddeus Lewis. That report was confirmed by several members of the local media.
Lewis started one game for the Browns last week, starting against the Steelers in the final week of the season. He wasn’t awful, completing 22 of 32 passes for 204 yards, a touchdown and an interception. Lewis has been...
Browns RB Trent Richardson and TE Jordan Cameron did not participate in today’s practice. Richardson was held out because of a strained shin muscle. Cameron did not practice because of a pulled groin.

Cleveland Browns offensive coordinator Norv Turner’s job is hard enough trying to get Brandon Weeden up to speed in his offense, and evaluating Jason Campbell. He now has to field questions about third string pickup Brian Hoyer, a darling of general manager Mile Lombardi. Since signing Hoyer, there have been reports of doom for Weeden, that it is an ominous sign for the second...
Talk about skyrocketing value. Jordan Cameron’s ADP and trade value have ballooned over the last few weeks. He’s gone from a player commonly ranked around the 20th to 25th tight end to a guy comfortably slated in the 10th to 15th range. The rise is mostly due to recent comments from the Browns’ coaching staff that have led fantasy owners to speculate about Cameron’s ceiling...
The Browns have signed running back Brandon Jackson to a 1-year contract and rookie safety Jamoris Slaughter to a 4-year deal.
Also, the team has released safety Eric Hagg, a seventh-round pick in 2011.
Jackson has returned after spending the past two seasons with Cleveland, which signed him as an unrestricted free agent in 2011 from Green Bay. Jackson missed the entire '11...
Julio Jones and Chris Owens are in the news. They didn't do anything on or off the field that warrants any negative attention.
A 29 year-old Norcross, GA man named Corey Dajohn Moody is a different case altogether.

BEREA, Ohio (AP) -- Browns quarterback Brandon Weeden is heading home to Oklahoma to help anyway he can in the aftermath of the deadly tornado.
Weeden said his wife, Melanie, has family in Moore, Okla., where the tornado killed 24 people and destroyed thousands of homes. Weeden said none of her family members were injured and he's eager to "just to do my part" with...
