Talk about having the wind sucked out of the sails. Week three for the Cleveland Browns was supposed to be a promising one with the return of Josh Gordon from a two-game suspension. Now, following the trade of Trent Richardson, it marks the beginning of a slow death march towards the NFL Draft.
Despite losing arguably one of their most explosive players on offense and not having their starting quarterback available due to injury, the Cleveland Browns can actually pull out a win in Minnesota if for no other reason than the Vikings are not that good of a team. Here are this week’s keys to the game for the Cleveland Browns as they travel to Minnesota to take on the Vikings.
Contain Adrian Peterson
It’s that simple, yet that hard at the same time.
The Browns defense has done a nice job against opposing running backs so far this season, allowing only 110 yards rushing (on 50 carries) from opposing backs. However this isn’t just another running back, this isn’t even just one of the top ba...

Being arguably the best football player on the planet certainly has its benefits. Fame, fortune, accolades, adulation, you name it. No one is going to deny that it’s a pretty good gig. But it certainly can have its minor, yet irritating, drawbacks, especially in this day and age. Just ask Minnesota Vikings running back and […]The post Adrian Peterson says dealing with fantasy...
It seems as if the Cleveland Browns have decided that they will go ahead and start a full on fire sale of the the team after just two weeks into the regular season. The Browns rocked the NFL world last week after trading former first-round running back Trent Richardson to the Indianapolis Colts. The Colts now have two of the first three players selected in the first round of the...
EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. -- Adrian Peterson has had plenty of big, memorable runs during his seven-year career with the Minnesota Vikings.
Peterson went 78 yards for a touchdown on his first carry this season. He has two career runs of at least 80 yards. His first career carry went for 13 yards. He set the single-game rushing record of 296 yards in his rookie season. He's run over...
NFL running back Adrian Peterson has teamed with Driven Apps to release a new fitness and sports training app for aspiring athletes. This is the third time that Driven has paired with a professional athlete to release a branded app; earlier this year, the company produced apps with NBA star Dwayne Wade and pro golfer […]
It appears the Browns are ready to clear house on offense.
Cleveland already traded away last year’s No. 3 overall pick, running back Trent Richardson. Now, the team is fielding offers for wide receivers Josh Gordon and Greg Little, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. One team has made a “quality offer” for Gordon, Schefter continued.
Gordon is likely the more attractive of...
Adrian Peterson is on record as saying rushing for 100 yards per game is "so easy."
Fantasy football? Not so much.
The Vikings' All-World running back told USA Today's For The Win that being the consensus top NFL fantasy player is a "headache."
“I don’t wanna say it’s so worksome, but it gets worksome,” Peterson said. “You’ve got so many...
This is just awesome. In case you hadn't heard--the Minnesota Vikings lost to the Cleveland Browns Sunday. Yes, the Cleveland Browns; the same team that just traded away their starting running back and lost their starting quarterback to injury.
Apparently after his team lost to the lowly Browns, Adrian Peterson was hanging out with his daughter...
I thought we could finally get back to focusing on a football game today but it doesn't look like that will be the case. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter this morning the Cleveland Browns have WR Greg Little and WR Josh Gordon on the trade block and would love to add RB Ben Tate.
It's hard to say what a "quality" offer for Gordon would be. A second-round pick...
Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson had a spectacular 2012 season to say the least, but what fans forget is that it started off kinda slow after his initial return to the field following surgery on his torn ACL. Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III is in the same boat this year - a slow, nothing to write home about post-ACL surgery start, but Peterson...
Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson has been listed as probable for Monday's night game against the New York Giants after missing some practice time this week because of tightness in his hamstring.
Peterson took part in the workout Saturday, and coach Leslie Frazier said there should be no problem with Peterson playing.
Left tackle Matt Kalil missed practice for...
AP’s daughter is not alone.
I am very distraught over the Vikings killing my two team parlay.
The Cleveland Browns got a great win over the Vikings today, highlighted by the return of Josh Gordon and a game winning drive led by new quarterback Brian Hoyer. You would think after the interesting week they've had, with the trade of Trent Richardson, Browns' fans would be thrilled about the win. Apparently not. The same fans who were outraged over the trade of Richardson are...
Minnesota Vikings runningback Adrian Peterson is now the standard to which all who are returning from major knee surgery are compared, the All-Pro back took a moment Thursday to offer his take on how well Robert Griffin III is doing. The Washington Redskins quarterback, who underwent major knee surgery in January, may have struggled in [...]
