Brian Orakpo looks to come back healthy this season Everyone knows the reasons why the 2012 Redskins defense never lived up to its potential. Season ending injuries to starting strong safety Brandon Meriweather, Adam Carriker, and especially Brian Orakpo early on in the season derailed what was expected to be a strong showing from the Redskins defense last year. Add to those injuries...
JUST A DISPUTE
Robert Griffin III says his words have been "twisted" by the media. He and Mike Shanahan have gone back and forth over whether he would play in the preseason.
Last Thursday we announced the inaugural class of Redskins Preseason Hall of Famers. That very night a new candidate emerged.
His name is Pat White, and he led the Redskins to meaningless victory over Tennessee with a touchdown and game-winning two-point conversion. He is the perfect Redskins Preseason HOFer:

He also led the league in rushing among...

Look for Robert Griffin III to start running again.
This year's RG3 suggested Wednesday that he'll look more like last year's RG3 when the Washington Redskins host the Detroit Lions this weekend. With his team opening the season with two bad losses, Griffin figures his legs can provide a spark.
"It's not that I want to run more, I just feel like that's...
Colin Kaepernick is featured on one of two covers for GQ’s September NFL kickoff edition, joining Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III as one of the two cover guys.
