Colin Kaepernick's performance Saturday night was one for the ages. During the 49ers' Divisional Round contest against the Packers, Kaepernick set the NFL's single-game rushing record for quarterbacks in any game. Midway through the fourth quarter, with the Niners leading 38-24, the dynamic signal-caller had run for 179 yards, eclipsing Michael Vick's previous mark (173). Kaepernick also obliterated the postseason rushing yards record, formerly held by Vick (119). The coup de grace of Kaepernick's outing came in the third quarter, when he broke off a highlight-reel 56-yard touchdown scamper, longest in NFL playoff history. It was an eye-popping run that completely shifted the game in San Fran's favor. As of this post, Kaepernick has totaled 263 yards and two touchdowns through the air, along with 183 yards and two scores on the ground.
