The Colts Authority:
Good afternoon, Colts Fans. I hope your weekend has been great so far. This week, we are doing NFL picks on Coltsauthority.com. Everyone on the staff who was able sent me their Week 5 winners with full bragging rights at stake. And, if you feel like getting into the mix as well, feel free to add your Week 5 picks into the comments.
The Colts Authority staff all agrees that the Texans, 49ers, Bears, Giants, and Ravens look like winners this week. Several of us also expect Green Bay to be the smart choice, but that didn’t stop Lou, Josh, and me from going out on a limb to pick the Colts. This may have been a mistake for the three of us, since Indy will apparently be using Josh Gordy, Darius Butler, and a can of Cheez Whiz in their dime packages against the pass-wacky Green Bay offense led by that guy named Aaron. All silliness aside, it's the NFL, and everybody has a chance.
So, kick off your weekend with some football prognostication. It’ll be fun.

Okay, I'm just going to blast through a few of these recaps because, well, this was the kind of game that makes us want to read some recap articles. This was the type of win we like to savor for awhile.
So, first up, Conrad Brunner of 1070 The Fan has a nice wrap-up of the game and touches on how truly important it was to Reggie Wayne:
Well, how about one more recap; this one from another local reporter.
Phil Richards of the Indianapolis Star looks at the defensive "attitude adjustment" that spurred the Colts' improbable comeback victory over a very good Packers team. Richards spoke to Robert Mathis and Cory Redding and also broke down how the Colts hybrid 3-4 defense managed to shut down so...

Evan Hilbert of CBSSports.com has a nice preview for this week's matchup against Green Bay. This week, like many prognosticators, he is predicting a Packers victory and notes that the Colts' defense is banged up, and, well Aaron Rodgers. The Colts also need to stop Cedric Benson:
The Colts' defense has been suspect against the run, at...

Fans can purchase posters, T-shirts, wristbands and more, with all funds...

The Colts week 5 game was supposed to be about their Head Coach. It was supposed to be about the emotions of the sad, unexpected, depressing situation. It was supposed to be about the Green Bay Packers showing the world they're still the best team in the NFL.
Instead, as the Colts (2-2) fought back from a 21-3 halftime deficit to win 30-27, we found that today was all about...
Colts receiver Reggie Wayne had 13 receptions for 212 yards and a game-winning touchdown Sunday against the Packers.Fantasy Spin:Wayne has been a fantasy monster through four games, catching no less than six balls for no less than 71 yards in any of them. He's averaging a ridiculous 126.5 yards per game.
The Indianapolis Colts played the Green Bay Packers, if you got to see it you’re lucky as FOX here in Indiana did not have the Colts’ game on television but instead was playing Soccer.
Barclays Premier League was being aired instead of football on a Sunday. I have nothing against Soccer, but it just seems like a strange call to me, what do you think?
INDIANAPOLIS -- The Indianapolis Colts wanted to send a message to ailing coach Chuck Pagano, and they delivered one that will never be forgotten. Using a 27-point second half, the Colts came from 18 points down to beat the Green Bay Packers 30-27 on Sunday at Lucas Oil Stadium. Trailing 27-22, Colts rookie quarterback Andrew Luck engineered an 80-yard drive in the final 4:30...
For all the talk surrounding his ankle, Freeney is a go. Satele's dealing with a knee injury, according to colts.com; Shipley will be starting in his place. For Canadians out there, Happy Thanksgiving; for everyone, Go Colts!
This week, in support of their head coach who was recently diagnosed with Leukemia the Colts launched the ‘chuckstrong’ campaign aimed at generating funds for the Cancer Society and showing support for their coach; and, the Packers are supporting the initiative.
