Ahmad Bradshaw won’t be playing Sunday at MetLife Stadium but just standing on the opposite sideline from the Giants is going to be a jolt.
Bradshaw made that clear yesterday in a conference call with New York-area reporters describing his visit with his new team the Colts for a preseason matchup with his old team this weekend as “strange” and “different.”
“I’ve been with my Giants my whole career and I never thought about it on the other side” the veteran running back said. “So it’ll be different. But I understand it’s a business.”
Bradshaw was recently activated off Indianapolis’ physically unable to perform list but is still rehabbing his surgically repaired foot. He hasn’t even begun practicing with his new team yet so he won’t be in the lineup.
Even so Bradshaw — who won two Super Bowl rings in six seasons with Big Blue — said he’s eager to get back to what he calls “Giants Stadium.”
“It’s an exciting time” he said.
