Just a quick note before I get to it that my last post for this season will be on Wednesday. Then after that, we will go to "Offseason audibles" mode, with a thread that bloggers can add to on a monthly basis. (Sorry this redux is a bit late. Thought I posted it, but when I checked again today, it was still in unpublished mode. Obvious blogger error!)
Here's what stood out from reviewing the Colts' 23-17 overtime loss to San Diego in Saturday night's AFC wild-card game:
* Watching on television really shows how LaDainian Tomlinson isn't sound. It was only a matter of time before the painkiller wore off and he felt that groin. I'll bet the Colts wished modern medicine would have worked better, so Darren Sproles sat more.
* Great stunt inside by Robert Mathis to get the third-down sack and stop the Chargers' first possession. The Colts sure set the early tone.
* Second-and-2 on the Colts' initial possession and the Chargers just stand up the b...
