Sign on San Diego:
The Indianapolis Colts' sudden crash has cost coach Jim Caldwell his job. The team fired Caldwell on Tuesday, the second major decision in what is expected to be a long offseason shake-up. Team owner Jim Irsay fired team vice chairman Bill Polian and his son, Chris, the team's general manager, the day after the season ended.

Phillip B. Wilson thinks, among other things, that yesterday's decision to fire Jim Caldwell will have little impact on the Manning decision:
That brings us to what to do with Manning. Some fear the worst because Grigson has yet to speak to the NFL’s only four-time MVP. I’m not reading into that as much, though. Again, to be fair, Grigson has been on the job for a few minutes...

I think at some point, Jon Gruden will return to the sidelines and while he is currently employed by ESPN,...
With Jim Caldwell being relieved of his head coaching duties, the Indianapolis Colts are reportedly going to be interviewing former Ohio State coach Jim Tressel as a potential replacement.
As a collegiate head coach, Tressel, 59, has a record of 229-79-2, winning the NCAA Division I national championship in 2002 in addition to five other Big Ten conference titles. His most recent...
Someone needs to explain to me how the folks at NMA can turn these around so quickly, and with this kind of detail.
After a disastrous season, the Indianapolis Colts are dumping coach Jim Caldwell. Caldwell took over from the legendary Tom Dungy to start the 2009 season. As signal-caller, Caldwell did not measure up.
The Colts had a disastrous season and leaned heavily on an aging...
