A lot has changed for the Indianapolis Colts since a 22-17 home-field loss to Jacksonville on Sept. 23. That's the only game the Jaguars have won this season and they are 1-7 on the year. Indianapolis, meanwhile, has posted wins in four of its last five games and is rolling along with a 5-3 record. Many Colts point to that loss to Jacksonville in the third week of the season as a turning point. Indianapolis led 14-3 at the half and was ahead 14-13 after three quarters. The Colts even led 17-16 with 45 seconds remaining in the game. That's when Jacksonville quarterback Blaine Gabbert connected with speedy wide receiver Cecil Shorts III on an 80-yard pass play that resulted in the final margin of victory. If not for that last-second score by the Jaguars, Indianapolis could very well be coming into Thursday's night's nationally televised meeting with a 6-2 record. Not bad for a team that some observers figured would be lucky to match last year's 2-14 m...

Indianapolis Colts at Jacksonville Jaguars: Week 10 NFL Pick
Indianapolis Colts (5-3) at Jacksonville Jaguars (1-7)
Every once in a while I kick myself for not taking a line the week before. I’ve never put money on an early line, but here’s one instance I wish I had. Jacksonville was -1 last week. Even if Indianapolis had lost to Miami, I would have put a big play against Blaine Gabbert as a favorite. Aside from the obvious Blaine Gabbert...
Shad Khan calls Jaguars embarrassing
In his first season as the owner of the Jaguars, Shad Khan is embarrassed by what he has seen on the field.
That’s the word Khan used on Jaguars All Access on Action News 47, in an appearance in which he made clear that he knows the 1-7 team has to get a lot better.
“It’s embarrassing but there are better days ahead,” Khan said, via the Florida Times-Union. “I’m deeply...
Jaguars 3, Colts 17; halftime thoughts
At halftime, the Jaguars trail the Colts 3 to 17, and the big difference in the game hasn't been in respect to the two teams' quarterbacks.
Blaine Gabbert has played well to this point, as has Andrew Luck. Both quarterbacks have similar numbers, but Andrew Luck has been helped more by the rest of his team than Gabbert has.
It's at this point that I'd like...
Jacksonville Jaguars: Where do the Jaguars go from here
This picture dictates just how bad the season has gotten for the Jacksonville Jaguars and their fan base. At 1-8 there isn’t much else that could go wrong for this team, they lost their RB Maurice Jones-Drew 4 weeks ago with an ankle injury and he was the only player on this team worth watching.
The Jaguars are now 2 years into the Blaine Gabbert experiment, and while his failures...

Yes, the Colts are fighting like a legit AFC playoff contending team these days and nobody really saw this coming.
Some may have seen Blaine Gabbert turn it over 16 times in 15 games last season, but he has taken a borderline turn for the worst this season with the Jaguars.
Jacksonville has been trying...
Thursday Night Football: Colts Seek Revenge In Jacksonville
Indianapolis and Jacksonville always keep things interesting between them, even if apart they are far from interesting.Jacksonville has been absolutely atrocious this season.Kansas City, who has yet to hold a lead, have been compared to the infamous 2008 Lions (0-16). Kansas City has accumulated -107 net points on the season while on their way to a 1-7 record. Jacksonville has -102...
Fantasy Football Week 10 Thursday Night Matchup: Colts at Jaguars
This Thursday night the Indianapolis Colts meet the Jacksonville Jaguars. Will there be any good fantasy football options? Last week the Thursday night game seemed a banquet of (unreliable) fantasy options. Yes, there were choices everywhere. But the question was who could you trust? The answer of course ended up being practically no one, my apologies to Philip Rivers. This week...
