It looked like the Indianapolis Colts would have several key starters today against the Miami Dolphins, as linebackers Pat Angerer, Dwight Freeney and Robert Mathis and running back Donald Brown were all listed as probable entering the weekend. However, Brown has been downgraded to questionable and he could miss today’s pivotal matchup due to a knee injury, reports ESPN. He had been listed as probable most of this week after returning last weekend after in-season knee surgery, but team doctors found swelling in the knee Saturday. Colts’ team doctors uncovered swelling in Browns’ knee yesterday, which could sideline the running back. He was able to play last weekend and was projected to suit up for the Colts until Saturday. If Brown’s unable to go, rookie Vick Ballard would likely receive a majority of the carries. Angered, Freeney and Mathis all continue to be listed as probable and are expected to play against the Dolphins.
