The Colts have made 4 roster moves today. Chandler Harnish, aka "Mr. Irrelevant" was waived. Dominique Jones was released, and Jerry Brown was cut. The Colts then signed Weslye Saunders to the 53 man roster.

Well, let's start with everyone's favorite, Chandler Harnish. The quarterback who was the last pick in this year's draft was waived today, with the hopes that he would clear them and be signed to their practice squad. Harnish is currently the 3rd string quarterback, and has not seen any time this year and has been an inactive for all the games. He should have been on the practice squad in the first place.

Then there's Dominique Jones, the 3rd string tight end. The hunt for the Colts' 3rd string tight end is still on. Jones did a nice job in the preseason, perhaps solidifying his place on the roster.

Now, with him gone, it's time for the new addition Weslye Saunders to make his mark. He's the new 3rd string tight end, but he must prove himself on special teams and in blocking situations. Let's see how long he lasts.

Finally, new addition Jerry Brown was cut. Bit of a surprising move considering that Mathis is injured and Freeney is not exactly 100%. They could have used him for depth. He was also a not bad special teams player, and is pretty fast. It definitely won't hurt this team in any way, and odds are, it won't affect anything on this team.
