Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay doesn’t seem to happy with ESPN NFL insider Adam Schefter.

Schefter reported the Colts tried to hire Patriots director of player personnel Nick Caserio,  who ended up opting to remain in New England.

In response to Schefter’s tweet,  Irsay tweeted,  “Adam don’t say I wanted to hire someone I never talked to or met..MISLEADING..come on your better than that..get your head in the game son!”

It seems that Irsay believes the story originated from Caserio’s people.

“That’s the way people get false promo about being so coveted just because they don’t interview somewhere;SHELL GAME..leave us out of that BS,”  tweeted Irsay.

Schefter did end up responding to Irsay by tweeting,  “Excuse me Jim Irsay. NFL told me your general counsel Daniel Emerson emailed request for Nick Cesario on Tues before he opted to stay in NE.”

It’s obvious that Irsay is feeling the pressure of finding a new general manager as well as dealing with the mess of drafting a quarterback and figuring out what the do with Peyton Manning.
