Jim RacaltoWhat the Indianapolis Colts and rookie phenom QB Andrew Luck have achieved so far in 2012 can already be deemed a success somewhat. Not many analysts picked the Colts to win five games or even be very competitive, given their shaky personnel on defense, a rookie quarterback, and Head Coach Chuck Pagano being diagnosed with leukemia and being sidelined. Colts players Matt Overton, Pat McAfee, and Adam Vinatieri after shaving their heads in honor of coach Pagano. Well, if the playoffs started today the Colts would be the five seed in the AFC, and it is evident the team is rallying around Chuck Pagano and it’s quite possible they could make a playoff run. To further the cause and show their support for Pagano, several Colts players have already shaved their heads and many more are expected to follow suit. Colts owner Jim Irsay said on Twitter: “Buzzed heads abound in our locker room right now in honor of Chuck!” Chuck Pagano’s situation is a humbling reminder that real life exists beyond the football field, and it’s nice to see Colts players rallying to give their coach something special in such a trying time. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Pagano, his family, his friends, and we wish him a speedy recovery! Sports-Kings - The Kings of Sports Lists
