The Indianapolis Colts have promoted Joe Gilbert to offensive line coach.
He spent last season as Indy's assistant offensive line coach.
Gilbert replaces Harold Goodwin, who was hired by Bruce Arians as Arizona's new offensive coordinator on Monday. Goodwin was Indy's offensive line coach last season when Arians was calling plays as the Colts' offensive coordinator and interim head coach.
Before joining the Colts, Gilbert spent 25 seasons on the college level - the previous three at Illinois. He also has coached at the University of Houston, Toledo, Central Florida, Maine, Northeastern, Pennsylvania and the University of Albany.
The Colts are expected to focus this offseason on improving an offensive line that allowed rookie Andrew Luck to be sacked 41 times in 2012.

Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay may be a lot of things, but he never welches on a Twitter giveaway. The colts owner tweeted that he would give away $8,500 cash is someone could guess the exact score of the Pats-Ravens game before kickoff. A Colts fan named Jason was pretty close and guessed that Baltimore would win 27-14. Check out the pic above proving Irsay did in fact follow...

Unlike the first two teams report cards in the AFC South, the next two teams had quite different seasons. From go almost everyone had the Houston Texans pegged to repeat as division winners. But what not even the biggest optimist in Indianapolis predicted was that the Colts would end up finishing only one game behind Houston in the final standings.
