- It was announced on Monday that Austin Collie has ruptured a tendon in his knee and will be forced to miss the rest of the year. The man just can't catch a break. He's had concussion problems over the last 3 years and now you can add potential knee problems to his long list of injuries. With him out for the rest of the year, I expect him to retire. He can't risk his life after football for a few more passes next season. If it is his last season, at least he went out on a catch.
- With Collie out for the year, the Colts have signed Nathan Palmer off the San Francisco 49ers practice squad. Palmer, a receiver, is an athletic guy with some good potential. There's a chance he stays on this roster, but with the Colts having good depth there and more proven players than Palmer, I expect him to be at the top of the list when it comes to "first to go."
