The Colts have decided to sign defensive end Fili Moala to 1 year contract. The Colts have kept another impending free agent from hitting the market. Fili Moala, who suffered a torn ACL midway through the season, was signed to a one year deal. The Colts also decided to retain Pat McAfee earlier this week with a franchise tag. The signing comes as a bit of surprised due to the ACL injury to Moala, but as we saw with Adrian Peterson, the procedure is very safe and good. It could make your knee stronger. Moala is expected to miss training camp and the majority of the preseason, but should be on track to be ready for Day 1.Moala is a former 2nd round pick, that hasn't lived up to the hype that came with him. He started all eight games he played for the Colts and started 30 games across the two previous seasons. If Moala is healthy, there’s still a chance he’ll face a challenge for his starting spot as the Colts try to improve their defense from 2012′s 26th-ranked unit. The monetary ...

A little Luck over Flacco

The question on everyone’s mind right now (except in Baltimore ), is Joe Flacco worth the contract?  Going through the list of quarterbacks currently, I can think of a handful of quarterbacks I would pay more than Flacco.  This list includes guys like: Peyton Manning, Eli Manning, Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers, Drew Brees, Matt Ryan, Ben Roethlisberger, Cam Newton, RGIII, and Andrew...

Indianapolis Colts: Team Needs in the 2013 NFL Draft

As we continue the Team Needs series for the 2013 NFL Draft, we proceed to the team with the twenty-fourth overall pick; the Indianapolis Colts. It was an emotional year of change in Indiana as not only were the Colts adjusting to like after Peyton, but their head coach came down with cancer early in the year. However, the Colts young roster rallied around their coach and found...

There had been speculation from the moment Saturday said 2012 would be his final season in the league that the Colts would bring back their longtime center so he could retire with the team that brought him into the league. Team officials say Saturday will make the announcement Thursday at the Colts complex. Saturday...

Colts eyeing Cliff Avril and Cary Williams?

Two notable defensive free agents on the 2013 market are DE Cliff Avril and CB Cary Williams. Both are likely drawing serious interest from the Indianapolis Colts. For the first time in a long long time, the Colts have the most salary cap wiggle room in the league. They have $43 million in cap space, [...]The post Colts eyeing Cliff Avril and Cary Williams? appeared first on Punch...

Catching Up With Sergio Brown - The Only Two-Time Subway Domer People's Champ

I recently caught up with former Notre Dame and current Indianapolis Colts safety Sergio Brown. The past 13 months have been a bit of a roller coaster for Brown. After starting for parts of 2011 and playing for the Patriots in Super Bowl XLVI last February, he was surprisingly one of New England's final 2012 August roster cuts. The two-year vet was quickly snatched by Indianapolis...
