Indianapolis Colts Safety Joe Lefeged was arrested in Washington, D.C.
The Colts signed Lefeged, 25, as an undrafted free agent in 2011. He has played in all 32 games since being signed and started five games including their playoff loss to the Baltimore Ravens last year. Lefeged is from nearby Gaithersburg, MD.
Lefeged has also returned kicks and punts during his career and was named a team captain last season.
There is not a lot of information about what led to the arrest.
According to the Indianapolis Star the Colts have no information to offer at this time.

Indianapolis Colts safety Joe Lefeged was arrested Saturday morning in Washington, D. C. on gun charges, according to CBSSports.com.
The 25-year-old Lefeged was in a car with another man when police tried to pull them over. The two took off, and a police chase ensued, said Officer Araz Alali, a D.C. police spokesman.

Can training camp start already? Maybe what the NFL needs to do is something similar to year-round school for kids and elongate training camp or something; maybe make early reporting an option for guys.
