The Indianapolis Colts have signed free agent center Samson Satele, perhaps paving the way for Jeff Saturday's exit.
A person with knowledge of the deal says it's a three-year contract worth $10.8 million, with $5 million guaranteed. The person spoke on the condition of anonymity to The Associated Press because the team did not announce the terms.
Colts general manager Ryan Grigson says Satele is the man they want to anchor their new line.
Satele played two seasons in Miami and spent the last three in Oakland. He has made 74 starts since Miami drafted him in the second round in 2007.
Saturday already has visited Green Bay and Tennessee, and there is speculation he might join Peyton Manning in Denver.
