Colts star has one wish for the 2024 schedule
Jenna Watson/IndyStar / USA TODAY NETWORK

The full 2024 NFL Schedule will be released on Wednesday, May 15th.

And an Indianapolis Colts defensive captain hopes for one similarity to the team's 2023 schedule.

Last year, the NFL announced two regular season matchups in Frankfurt, Germany, which was the first time the NFL had ever had games there. The Colts were one of those matchups, with them being scheduled to play the New England Patriots during Week 10. The Colts went on to win the matchup 10-6.

Franklin and multiple other players seemed to have enjoyed the experience of playing overseas, as he is hoping for yet another international game this season. The Colts have only had two international games ever, including last season. Their first came in 2016 against AFC South foe, the Jacksonville Jaguars. They lost that game 30-27, meaning they are 1-1 in international games. And last time, they had to wait seven seasons for another international game. If they land one in back-to-back years, that would be pretty shocking.

Earlier this offseason, the NFL announced the four designated home teams for games in London, England, and Munich, Germany. The Chicago Bears (London), Minnesota Vikings (London), Jaguars (London), and the Carolina Panthers (Munich). The Colts are set to be the away team against two of these teams, the Vikings and the Jaguars. This gives them a chance to make Franklin's hope a reality.
