Colts’ Tyler Goodson gets brutally honest on season-ending drop vs. Texans

Indianapolis Colts running back Tyler Goodson just became a much more notable name in Week 18. Unfortunately for the 23-year-old running back, it’s not for a good reason.

The Colts lost to the Houston Texans in a Saturday showdown that featured a playoff berth on the line. The final score was 23-17 after a failed late drive from Indianapolis. Goodson was the first read on the final play, a controversial decision from the Indy coaching staff.

The play the Colts ran to get the critical conversion got Goodson wide open coming out of the backfield. A completion would have kept the drive alive and would have probably gotten Indy inside the 10-yard line. Gardner Minshew threw it behind him on what should have been an easy gain. It was low enough and behind enough to make Goodson twist around for it but still on target enough to hit Goodson’s hands.
