Via NESN : When the supplemental draft picks were dished out on Sunday, we finally figured out which team will be the lucky recipients of Mr. Irrelevant -- the Indianapolis Colts. This is the second consecutive year the Colts will be picking last in the NFL draft. In 2012, they took Northern Illinois quarterback Chandler Harnish with the 253rd pick. This year, the last pick will be No. 254. The draft begins on April 25, but Mr. Irrelevant will have to wait until April 27 to hear his name called. Past notable Mr. Irrelevants include long-time Chiefs quarterback Bill Kenney, Patriots linebacker/special teamer Marty Moore and current Chiefs kicker Ryan Succop. Perhaps the strangest Mr. Irrelevant was former two-time NBA All-Star Jimmy Walker -- Jalen Rose's father. Walker was taken No. 445 in the 17th round despite never playing college football. Whoever gets chosen last in 2013 will take part in Irrelevant Week, founded by Newport Beach, Calif., businessman and former NFL player, Paul Salata. "Whoever he is, Mr. Irrelevant will enjoy a memorable week in Newport Beach as part of our annual tradition of doing something nice for someone for no reason," Salata said. The "winner" will receive the Lowsman Trophy during his week-long celebration in Newport. Irrelevant Week, inc. recognizes and supports national and local charities that provide for undeserved, underprivileged or at-risk youth and adults in the Newport community.

Colts Team Needs (As of March 20th)

The Colts have made a lot of signings in free agency and have addressed a lot of needs. I breakdown the position that needs the most attention (i.e draft picks, free agent signings) and the ones that need the least.Offensive GuardDonald Thomas is a solid addition, but he's nothing special. He should be a fine guard though, and I doubt many will have to worry about him. The problem...

Colts’ 3-4 edge rusher options in the 2013 NFL draft

The Indianapolis Colts parted ways with their most prolific pass rusher in Dwight Freeney, because the 3-4 defense simply doesn’t fit his skill set. However that means the Colts will have to find a 3-4 edge rusher in the 2013 NFL draft that can make Robert Mathis’ job easier next season. So let’s take a look at what the Colts’ 3-4 edge rusher options are, and see if the Colts...

Indianapolis has signed free agent defensive tackle Aubrayo Franklin and is bringing back offensive guard Joe Reitz. The Colts made the announcements Wednesday afternoon. He was originally drafted by Baltimore...

Crazy Colts Fan - Jim Irsay is a Fan's Kind of Owner; Follow Him on Twitter and You'll See

Crazy Colts Fan - Jim Irsay is a Fan's Kind of Owner; Follow Him on Twitter and You'll See Jim Irsay is something else. Like Jerry Jones in Dallas I think he wants nothing more than to win. Unlike Jerry he seems to be okay with letting a football-minded person run the show while he swoops in and money-whips the poor rascals into submission. His method may...

Colts add free agent Hasselbeck

Matt Hasselbeck started his career as a backup to Brett Favre. He could end it being the backup to Andrew Luck. Less than 24 hours after being released by the Tennessee Titans, the 37-year-old quarterback signed with division rival Indianapolis. Terms of the deal were not immediately available. It looks like a smart move for the Colts, who lost last year's backup, free agent...

Indianapolis Colts Mock Draft 2.0

Here is the second Indianapolis Colts mock draft, with the expectations that the Colts will not receive any compensatory picks, which seems to be case.1st RoundJonathan Hankins – Defensive Tackle – Ohio StateThe Colts’ (arguably) biggest need now is the nose tackle spot.
