The Indianapolis Colts will be without defensive end Robert Mathis and two starting offensive linemen for Thursday night's game at Jacksonville.
Mathis had been listed as questionable with a back injury. It is the fourth game Mathis has missed this season.
The Colts also are without offensive tackle Winston Justice (knee) and center Samson Satele (back). Both were injured in last week's win against Miami and had been questionable.
Defensive end Clifton Geathers, tight end Coby Fleener and cornerbacks Vontae Davis and Jerraud Powers also are inactive for Indy.
The Jaguars are without starting cornerback Rashean Mathis, who also missed last week's game. Also inactive for Jacksonville: receiver Anthony Armstrong, safety Dwight Lowery, running back Maurice Jones-Drew, fullback Greg Jones, guard/center Steve Vallos and defensive tackle Jeris Pendleton.

Long: Luck, Colts Cruise by Jags
Finally. It's been difficult to judge how far the Colts have come this year, and at last we were able to see Indy win big. Remember when they lost to Jacksonville at home? Remember Cecil Shorts? Hard to forget; apparently, he's the best wideout in the league (just ask the Colts's secondary!). Mark Long recaps the game with some great quotes by Andrew Luck.
"We...
Colts players shave their heads to support Chuck Pagano (Pictures)
The Indianapolis Colts have shown tremendous support for head coach Chuck Pagano throughout his battle with cancer, and that continued this week when more than two dozen players and staff shaved their heads. Adam Vinatieri and others went with the cue ball look, and much of the action was captured in this video on Colts.com.
“It’s all for Chuck,” punter Pat McAfee told the...
Penalties plague Jaguars in loss to Colts
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) -- Inspiration one week, domination the next.
The Indianapolis Colts became the latest team to hammer the Jacksonville Jaguars at home, winning 27-10 on Thursday night behind two rushing touchdowns from rookie quarterback Andrew Luck.
Darius Butler returned an interception for a score as the Colts (6-3) won their fourth consecutive game and snapped a three...

Fan turns old Matt Jones jersey into MJD jersey
@JohnPhillips This has to be the most pitiful Jacksonville Jaguars jersey ever. This guy decided to turn his Matt Jones jersey into a Maurice Jones-Drew jersey, He would have been better off just leaving it alone. All I have to say is you have to love Jaguars’ and Colts’ fans. Cheapest Jaguars fan I’ve seen. Really? Matt Jones can dyslexicly be turned into MOJO!?!? twitter...
Jaguars owner doesn't want 'knee-jerk reactions'
Jacksonville Jaguars owner Shad Khan doesn't want to have any ''knee-jerk reactions'' to his team's losing ways.
The Jaguars (1-7) have dropped five in a row and are 0-4 at home this season heading into Thursday's game against Indianapolis.
Khan, who stayed in town for the short week, made it clear Wednesday that he won't make any changes before...
Following a Legend: Andrew Luck Week 9 vs. Miami Dolphins
Andrew Luck had his first “wow” game of his career. While he’s had great moments, great halves this season, this was the first complete effort, and it was a record-setting performance with 433 yards passing.
It concluded with Luck’s fourth game-winning drive in just eight games, which no rookie has ever done before.
The list of records and rookie firsts by Luck is getting...
Indianapolis Colts: Week 10 NFL Power Rankings (#9)
Last week: 9 (+2)
Record: 5-3
If the playoffs were to start today, Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts would travel to the Denver Broncos to play Peyton Manning, who through 8 games, has exactly the same amount of passing yards as his replacement Luck, 2404. The Colts are 4-1 in their last 5, since Chuck Pagano had to leave the team to undergo treatment for Leukemia, with that...
Colts QB Andrew Luck Named AFC Offensive Player Of Week 9
Andrew Lucks record day against the Miami Dolphins didnt go unnoticed at the league level.
The Indianapolis Colts rookie quarterback has been named AFC Offensive Player of the Week after passing for 433 yards and two touchdowns in last Sundays win over the Dolphins.
The yardage total was a single-game rookie record and Lucks fourth game with at least 300 yards. The...
Mike Mularkey can use Gabbert's injury to his advantage
Blaine Gabbert left last night's game with an injury, making room for backup quarterback Chad Henne to take a shot at running the offense. In his limited time, Henne looked comfortable and through the ball all over the field. Blaine Gabbert will likely be ready to play next week physically, but Mike Mularkey should use Gabbert's injury to his advantage.
Throughout the...
Colts, Jaguars in different phases of rebuild
It wasn't that long ago that Indianapolis and Jacksonville played for the division title.
Less than two years, in fact.
Both teams have changed coaches, quarterbacks and other personnel since.
It's pretty clear which one is further along in the rebuilding project.
The Colts (5-3) have won three straight heading into Thursday night's game at Jacksonville, pulling out...
Jacksonville Jaguars: Week 10 NFL Power Rankings (#32)
Last week: 32 (+0)
Record: 1-7
The Jaguars lost at home by 17 to the Lions last week and some people are crediting the Jaguars’ trade of Mike Thomas to the Lions right before the game as part of the reason. The move was actually a good one for the Jaguars because they were able to get rid of his contract and get something in return for a guy who was no better than their 4th receiver...
Indianapolis Colts vs. Jacksonville Jaguars: 3 Bold Predictions
The Jacksonville Jaguars have beaten the Indianapolis Colts in their last three meetings. This year in week three the Jaguars beat the Colts 22-17 in overtime. The game was in Lucas Oil Stadium. This is a home game for the Jaguars. The Jaguars are horrendous at home. The Carolina Panthers are the only home team to lose a game in this year's Thursday Night games. Can...
Blueprint for a rebuild
Last night's game between the Indianapolis Colts and the Jacksonville Jaguars was one of the worst NFL games in my recent memory. The final score wasn't outrageous (27-10 in favor of the Colts), but the way the Jaguars lost was just ugly. At 1-8, the Jaguars are the worst team in the NFL, and their play has regressed so far this season.
With so much going wrong, it appears...
