Hall of Very Good:
Last week, San Francisco 49ers cornerback Chris Culliver told comedian/radio host Artie Lange that gay players would not be welcome "in the locker room".Pretty shocking stuff, but, probably, a feeling that Lange feels "reflects what 99% of the league".Naturally, enter Jackie Robinson. As we all know by now, Robinson broke baseball's color barrier in 1947 and, as Lange told The Thirty Mile Zone, what football needs a "gay Jackie Robinson...and everything will be fine"."What’s gonna have to happen is a real star player, a Jackie Robinson-type," Lange said. "A real star player is gonna have to come out while he's playing...and other people will follow."I get what Lange is saying. And he's right...to a point.Robinson, and other African-Americans, weren't allowed to play because of the color of their skin. Homosexuals aren't making themselves known out of fear. What do you think?Unfortunately your browser does not support IFrames.

Concerning the Game: Overcoming a bad start, and nearly letting the game get away from them, the San Fransisco 49ers, lead by QB Colin Kaepernick, made a furious come back in the second half to get within several points of the Ravens.
The 49ers had the ball six yards out of the end zone under with touchdown to them the lead with under three minutes left in the game. And as we all know by now, they swung an missed four straight times, giving the ball back to the Ravens, who hung on for the win. Sorry if that was like pouring salt into now-healing wounds for you, Niners fans.
