Vikings Gab:
National Football League commissioner Roger Goodell ruled that the Vikings made no illegal move to lure quarterback Brett Favre from the Green Bay Packers. In his ruling, Goodell acknowledged that Vikings coaches did talk to Favre, but the conversations did not involve soliciting the future Hall of Famer for his services. Vikings coach Brad Childress dismissed published reports that trade talks have begun with the Packers for Favre, who's scheduled to begin practicing today. Favre retired in March, but was reinstated over the weekend by the NFL.
