When Juan Castillo was fired as the defensive coordinator, the communication was supposed improve, but it has gotten worse. New defensive coordinator Todd Bowles job was to simplify the message, and get defensive players talking to each other. It’s not always sunny in Philadelphia, and it’s definitely not shining on the Eagles these days. The first year secondary coach was put in a tough position, trying to come in mid season and try to change things. So far he has been trying to make the right corrections. "I think everything is corrected, every week, all the time. Players are going to make mistakes, just like your children," Bowles said according to Les Bowen of Philly.com. "You don't want'em to happen, you can go over 'em and go over 'em. We have a responsibility to correct, they have a responsibility to get it right." "Expectations and Pro Bowl players - it's a new year. You have to prove yourself every week in this league." "Nobody's going to give you anything . . . You have to come out and make plays. That's all this game is about." "No matter what kind of coach you are, it's tough to go over things and then see a mistake on the field." "You have to move on. You get ready for the next play and the next game." var switchTo5x=true; stLight.options({publisher:''});
