What a mess. The Pittsburgh Steelers showed some of the worst football I’ve seen by an offense in a few years against the Cleveland Browns. It felt like I was watching one of those old cartoons where the character keeps falling down the slope of a mountain for what seems like forever. The Steelers would fumble the ball and make mistakes, then the next time they got the ball, they replayed the same errors. It almost seemed scripted. I don’t what feels worse, the fact that the defense showed up and played with that terrible offense or that there were Read more [...]

Ben Roethlisberger's teammates are reportedly upset with his choice to not practice this week, despite being cleared by team doctors.
Here we go again with the Ben Roethlisberger injury drama. Honestly, what more does the man have to do as the leader of the Pittsburgh Steelers offense and a leader on the Steelers team in general, for fans and media to stop hounding him every time he makes a controversial decision. It’s what Ben does, so what, can’t we get past this by now? Ok, what was I thinking, the media...
The Pittsburgh Steelers knocked off the Baltimore Ravens 23-20 Sunday at M&T Bank Stadium and head coach Mike Tomlin updated the injury situation following the game.
Tomlin said cornerback Ike Taylor, who left the game during the first defensive series, suffered a lower right ankle or leg injury and will need an MRI. Tomlin also said that wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders suffered...
A judge has awarded $1.2 million to Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Larry Foote, who says he was the victim of bogus valet contracts at Detroit-area shopping malls.
Attorney Jim Acho says Foote invested more than $400,000 with two men who claimed to have parking contracts at Somerset Collection in Troy and Twelve Oaks Mall in Novi. He says there were no such deals.
Foote, a Detroit...
Ben Roethlisberger will not play Sunday in Baltimore, meaning Charlie Batch will make his second consecutive start at quarterback for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Roethlisberger threw briefly early in practice Friday but was in a sweat suit watching by the time practice ended. He will miss a third consecutive game since sustaining a sprained right shoulder and a dislocated rib in a...
Fantasy Football News - The Pittsburgh Steelers have inactivated Rashard Mendenhall for Week 13. He was not listed on any injury report.
FFLockerRoom Take - Well if you haven’t seen the writing on the wall, you have now. Mendenhall is no longer considered the future of the Steelers backfield. If you have him in your lineup (let’s hope you don’t) get him out now. While we don’t...
The Pittsburgh Steelers beat the Baltimore Ravens 23-20 Sunday to move their record 7-5 on the season. Below are the players, or group of players, that I thought had winning and losing performances in the game.
Charlie Batch - Batch provided the best 25-of-36 game of his career Sunday as he threw for 276 yards with 1 touchdown and 1 interception. Sure, he missed a wide open Mike...
The Pittsburgh Steelers beat to the Baltimore Ravens 23-20 Sunday and below are my first half notes from the game with the second half notes to follow soon.
A really great effort by Ike Taylor on the first deep ball to Torrey Smith. Smith should have still come down with the ball, but Taylor hung with him and pulled the arms away. That was the second play of the game and the last...
The Pittsburgh Steelers look to prevent a three game losing streak Sunday against the 9-2 Baltimore Ravens and it will not be an easy task on the road. The Ravens can clinch the AFC North with a win and a loss by the Cincinatti Bengals and nothing would be more satisfying then to stop the bleeding by beating them and bring them back a little closer to the pack in the process. Below...
The second largest home crowd in Ravens history watched Charlie Batch rally the Pittsburgh Steelers to a 23-20 win.
According to ESPN’s Ed Werder, there’s a 35 percent chance that Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger will play this Sunday against the Ravens.
Source says Ben Roethlisberger struggled throwing in one practice period involving him yesterday and only 35 percent chance he plays Ravens

It continues to look like Roethlisberger...
The Steelers, led by Jonathan Dwyer and Charlie Batch on their first drive, have taken a 3-0 lead on the Ravens.
Dwyer ran through the Ravens’ defense to help get Shaun Suisham in field goal range. Batch complemented Dwyer’s tough running with timely completions.
The Ravens have the ball for a second time about halfway through the first quarter.
The Ravens will meet the Steelers for the second time in three weeks. The Steelers will be without high profile players Ben Roethlisberger and LaMarr Woodley, but get back safety Troy Polamalu.
Two weeks ago, the Ravens defeated Pittsburgh 13-10 at Heinz Field. I expect the same result, but a different score this time.
The Ravens haven’t lost a home game since Week 13 of the 2010...
Shaun Suisham's 42-yard field goal on the game's final play lifted the Ben Roethlisberger-less Pittsburgh Steelers to a 23-20 win over the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday at M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore. In a tie game, the Steelers forced a Baltimore punt with 6:14 remaining and took over at their own 15-yard line. Backup quarterback Charlie Batch, filling in for Roethlisberger...
