‘Confident’ Patrick Mahomes asserts Chiefs will win the Super Bowl again next season and complete the ‘historic’ three-peat

Only a few days ago, Patrick Mahomes was seen handing his three Super Bowl rings to Logan Paul on Raw. The YouTuber turned WWE superstar, tried to use them as brass knuckles to flatten Jey Uso.

Paul then welcomed Mahomes to his ‘Impaulsive’ podcast to learn more about the Chiefs’ plan to conquer football once again. He brought up the Chiefs Super Bowl-winning touchdown from Mecole Hardman.

Mahomes replied that it wasn’t designed the way it happened. However, he was glad that Hardman was able to walk it home, winning it in overtime.

That play was freaking sweet, man. It was not supposed to go to the guy [Mecole Hardman] who caught the touchdown. We ran the ‘Corndog’ one against the Eagles. It was a touchdown. [We] won the game. Then, we were going to run a fake version of that and then do a little shovel pass, and it was wide open again. Patrick Mahomes said

Then the 28-year-old declared that the Chiefs would do it again in the next Super Bowl.

Next year, New Orleans, we are gonna do it again. Put it on the table. We are gonna do it again. Patrick Mahomes said

Well, to achieve that, the Chiefs can’t replicate the 42 drops from the 2023 regular season.

Mahomes and Chiefs have been foreshadowing their aim for the three-peat for a while now

After winning back-to-back rings, Mahomes announced that they were aiming for an unprecedented three-peat. Even the great Green Bay Packers, led by Vince Lombardi , failed to achieve that feat.

General Manager Brett Veach is serious about making that dream come true. He has been working extra hard to make fewer changes and add even more quality players to the team.

Veach orchestrated the extension of OT Chris Jones, LB Mike Danna, and DL Tershawn Wharton—more importantly, they made Travis Kelce the highest-paid tight end in the league.

Every now and then, you have one of these guys that are outliers, and certainly Travis is one of those players. Veach said after the Kelce deal

His deal will run until the 2027 season, and he has plenty of time to add a fourth ring to his collection. However, the 34-year-old wants to make the three-peat dream a reality.

The Kansas City Chiefs kick off their title defense on September 5 at home in Arrowhead. Whoever the opponent is, Mahomes and Kelce would be ready to take them down.
