By all accounts, Cordarrelle Patterson was the most physically gifted receiver in this year's draft class. Such is the reason the Vikings traded up in the first round to snag the ex-Volunteer.

Former University of Tennessee receivers coach Charlie Baggett, who helped recruit Patterson, recently told the Minneapolis Star Tribune that the 22-year-old could be more explosive than Randy Moss.
“When you look at just the sheer speed and athleticism, Cordarrelle may have even more explosion than Randy had. Honestly. He’s that special," Baggett said.
Realizing that the prediction may be a tad premature, Baggett followed by warning not to put Cordarrelle into Canton just yet.
“I don’t want people misinterpreting me as saying Cordarrelle is better or will be better than Randy Moss,” Baggett said. “When it comes to everything else that’s needed to be an elite NFL receiver, he has a long way to go to reach Randy. But he...

Football will always be a team sport. You could have a ten-time All-Pro tight end on your squad and still not make the Super Bowl. However, there are some individual players in the NFL that deserve a Super Bowl ring. It’s not their fault that their team is terrible. So why shouldn’t they be at least recognized that their time is running out and it’s now or never for them.
