8/02, 9:10pm: One day away from our big Green & White Scrimmage.
It's the first time that the team will be fully live. The fans will defintely be able to get a good look at what our team is going to be about.
As for me, every day my goal has been to get better and not make the same mistake twice.
I still have a few things to wrinkle out—but changing my game for the better.
I'm being coached up by great former defensive backs, Dennis Thurman and Tim McDonald. They played a lot of NFL ball, so when they tell you things, you know they're looking out for your best interest. Tomorrow, our coaches are excited to finally see us play.
With one week until Detriot, every rep from here-on-out is crucial.
I try to make goals for each practice...from not slipping on the ground and keeping my footing all practice, to no mental mistakes.
Learning a new defense has not been easy, but getting in the playbook every night has helped.
Now, it's all about putting everything together tomorrow night at the scrimmage.
