If elite NFL receivers were cars then at the height of their careers most would be considered a Cadillac. A luxury vehicle in showroom condition that quarterbacks and teams alike could ride to victory after victory.  Over time, like all cars, a star receiver’s value too depreciates as the miles from the grind of the NFL’s 16 game regular season schedule eventually take its toll on even the best.  Before long, these athletes that were once considered valuable are no longer prized possessions but rather second-hand veterans hoping to find a spark of the greatness that once was, on an NFL team’s roster.  As the 2011 NFL regular season approaches the three-quarter mark, the Chicago Bears are in serious contention as teams race along the road to the Super Bowl.  As teams start contemplating strategies for the second half of the season should the Bears look to rent a wreck to bolster their offense?  There’s one available who’s not that shabby and would be a nice complement their current receiver corps.  His name is Terrell Owens.
