Could the Bills Make a Play for Michael Vick?

With Michael Vick‘s tenure coming to an end with the Philadelphia Eagles after he was benched for the remainder of the season in favor of Nick Foles, we can only speculate of where he might go now after this. For Vick, he still has the capability of being a pretty good starting quarterback in the NFL. One of the main problems he had with the Eagles this season was the offensive line. It seems like in every play, he was either on the ground or was trying force a pass in to avoid a sack. According to Jason Cole of Yahoo! Sports, a team that could make a play for the veteran could be the Buffalo Bills. Cole ranked the top five teams that would be a fit for Vick coming into the off-season and had the Bills as the top choice. I don’t blame Cole for the choice. Ryan Fitzpatrick hasn’t been too shabby, but he hasn’t been great either. Fitzpatrick has struggled for the most part and has shown that he doesn’t really have the capabilities of being a franchise quarterback. Adding someone with the skillset Vick possesses, the Bills could go a long way with him. The Bills need a couple of improvements to the o-line and I think  they are set with Vick. He would be a major upgrade over Fitzpatrick. Plus, having Vick’s running ability with the running backs-tandem of Fred Jackson and C.J. Spiller is scary. This would also make Stevie Johnson a happy-camper with the offense. And Bills head coach Chan Gailey, as said by Cole, has worked with mobile-quarterbacks like Vick when he worked with Kordell Stewart back when he was with the Pittsburgh Steelers. We all know Vick is a much better quarterback than Stewart ever was, so the transition for Gailey would be very easy. I think the Bills should make the move. What do you think?
