According to reports Buffalo Bills star Free Safety Jairus Byrd is not expected to show up at voluntary conditioning workouts Tuesday….unless he and the Bills can reach a long-term deal. Buffalo has franchise tagged Byrd, but according to Ian Rapoport he has not signed that offer yet. #bbpBox_323623652341997568 a { text-decoration:none; color:#0084B4; }#bbpBox_323623652341997568 a:hover { text-decoration:underline; }Don't expect #Bills safety Jairus Byrd to show up at voluntary conditioning workouts Tuesday, absent a long-term deal. Hasn't signed tag yetabout 12 hours ago via TweetDeckReplyRetweetFavorite@RapSheetIan Rapoport  It doesn’t seem Byrd is happy about being in Buffalo. Could/should Washington pursue a possible trade for Byrd? The Redskins could still make room for adding a player by restructuring some deals, and/or extending some players. Right now a trade like this doesn’t seem like a possibility. But just because it may not seem like a reality right now, that doesn’t mean it won’t be an option the Redskins can look at further down the road. As we get closer to the regular season and Byrd remains unsigned, I could see the Redskins exploring a possible trade involving Kirk Cousins and Jairus Byrd. Of course, a trade such as this all depends on the health of Robert Griffin III this summer and how Kevin Kolb looks in Buffalo. Either way, add Byrd to the list of potential guys who could possibly be an option to make a deal for to help bolster this defense. What do you say Redskins Nation, would you want to go after Jairus Byrd if this price is right?   Related posts: 10 Free Agents The Redskins Should Go After The Impact Brandon Meriweather Can Have on This Redskins Defense Redskins Continue to Get Great Production From their 2012 Draft Class
