Baltimore Sun:
Many expected Oniel Cousins, who was recently released by the Ravens, to step into the Cleveland Browns' starting lineup when left guard Eric Steinbach was placed on injured reserve.
But the Browns are turning to rookie fifth-round pick Jason Pinkston instead of Cousins at left guard. Cousins has been practicing at right tackle, where the starter is another former Ravens lineman Tony Pashos.
Cousins, a 2008 third-round pick by the Ravens, told the Cleveland Plain Dealer that he was "a bit shocked" by his release. "But, you know, that's just how this business works," he said. "Sometimes things work out for the best, you put your best foot forward and you move on."
