It was Deja Vu all over again for the Philadelphia Eagles. Their offense keeps them in a game on national TV, but Bryce Brown’s inability to take care of the football and a horrid secondary killed the Eagles chances. Browns lost a fumble late in the fourth quarter which was returned for a touchdown by Morris Claiborne. Brown has lost 3 fumbles in 2 starts this season, but does have 347 rushing yards and 4 touchdowns in those two starts.
If you’re an Eagles fan who wants a high draft pick over anything else, this was a good night for you. The Eagles defense was bad enough to make sure they couldn’t come out on top, but the young guys like Riley Cooper, Brandon Graham, Nick Foles and Brown were impressive. Foles completed 22 out of 34 passes for 251 yards, 1 touchdown and zero picks. Graham had 6 total tackles and 1.5 sacks, compared to Trent Cole’s 2 assisted tackles and 0.5 sacks. Cooper showed incredible athleticism and effort catching a fade pass against Brandon Carr.
Now the Eagles stand at 3-9 and have all but clinched their fate as a non-playoff participant this season. Let’s just put all these playoff hopes to rest, unless I need to get Jim Mora Sr. out of retirement.
At this point in the season the focus with this team has to be with the young talent and everyone on the defense not named Fletcher Cox and DeMeco Ryans playing for their jobs. These next four games will go a long way in securing a job and impressing the next Eagles coach. Anyone who quits on this team at this point in the season will be looking for a new team this offseason.
The Eagles travel to Tampa Bay next week to try and knock off a Bucs team that is coming off a tough loss to the red hot Broncos on Sunday. The Eagles will try and put a stop at their current losing streak which is now at 8 games.

How Can Brown Fail For You?
> On the first play from scrimmage, DeMarcus Ware wasted Brent Celek and nearly ended Nick Fols as Philadelphia shrugged> WR Riley Cooper and Celek both fought for first downs, which was nice, I guess> RB Bryce Brown is really good at running wide for a big loss> Cowboys RB DeMarco Murray is running with a slight limp, which means he might...
