The Dallas Cowboys have added punter Chris Jones to their roster off their practice squad, an indication there they still have concerns about the health of Pro Bowl punter Mat McBriar. Guard Daniel Loper was released Saturday to clear a spot for Jones. McBriar has been dealing with a nerve problem in his left foot that he plants when kicking. He wasn't able to finish last week's game against Philadelphia. The Cowboys listed McBriar as questionable for their home game against Seattle after he had limited participation in practice this week. Kicker Dan Bailey finished last week's game as the punter.

Bryant's sideline behavior becoming distraction

With all the noise surrounding Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant, can you imagine what it will be like if he ever accomplishes something. If Bryant had been drafted by, say, the Seattle Seahawks, no one would be writing national columns about his sideline decorum. Playing for the Cowboys provides some players with a bigger stage than they deserve. Bryant was supposed to be...

Tony Romo, More Like Tony Homo

People call me immature. I guess I can’t argue that when I write articles based on CBS analyst Charlie Casserly mistakenly calling, Tony Romo, “Tony Homo.” It’s totally unjustifiable considering Romo has had several amazingly hot girlfriends and a pageant-winning wife, whom he impregnated, but Homo does rhyme with Romo, so I definitely giggled. Cowboys Top Seattle 23-13 to get back to .500

A consistant QB Tony Romo with alot of help from non-fluke rookie running back DeMarco Murray took care of the stingy Seahawks.  This was a game the Cowboys needed to win and they did not disappoint. The Cowboys did start out slow and were tied at the half 6 - 6 because Dez Bryant could not hold onto the ball as he tried to score with 6 minutes to go in the half.  The Seahawks...

Cowboys hope Seahawks offer springboard for season

The Dallas Cowboys will celebrate their past Sunday, devoting halftime of their game against Seattle to the induction of 1970s star Drew Pearson, and 1990s greats Charles Haley and Larry Allen into their Ring of Honor.

Strong 2nd half helps Romo, Cowboys rebound

Tony Romo shook off a horribly inefficient first half to throw for a pair of touchdowns, leading the Dallas Cowboys to a 23-13 victory over the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday.

Report: Lions to sign OG Davis

The Detroit Lions are planning to sign former Pro Bowl offensive guard Leonard Davis. Scout.com, citing a league source, reported that Davis had a tryout with the team Thursday. The 33-year-old Davis was released by the Dallas Cowboys in July. A former first-round draft pick of Arizona in 2001, Davis has started 153 career games.

Dallas has just enough to defeat sloppy Seattle

ARLINGTON, Texas -- There was a drive that fizzled 2 yards from the end zone, followed immediately by a drive that fizzled inside the 1. Both drew loud boos, yet at least the Dallas Cowboys got field goals each time. All they got on the next series was a lost fumble inside the 1. As inefficient as the start was, Tony Romo and the Cowboys managed to keep frustration from bogging them down.

Seahawks fall to 2-6 after 23-13 loss to Dallas

Well, that wraps up another Seahawks loss – this one 23-13 to the Dallas Cowboys. The Seahawks are now 2-6 half way through the season. Besides the losses, are you tired of… . …. the offense settling for field goals? What is it with Seattle’s pro teams struggling to score? This game reminded me of so many Seahawks games in recent history, and just about 85 Mariners games...
