Cowboys cornerback Mike Jenkins was fined for $7,875 for a late hit on Redskins receiver Pierre Garcon in the end zone during Washingtons 38-31 victory on Thanksgiving, according to a person with knowledge of the situation.
Garcon scored on a 59-yard touchdown catch-and-run. Jenkins chased Garcon, and kept trying to grab him after he crossed the goal line, and eventually shoved him out of the back of the end zone.
Fellow receiver Santana Moss immediately tussled with Jenkins, and Garcon got up and separated both players. Source: Washington Post Attached Thumbnails

The Giants weren’t looking great and the Cowboys, having played a very tough schedule in their first 9 games, had a very easy schedule down the stretch with 5 of 7 at home, including at least 4 where they almost definitely were...
The Washington Redskins have claimed linebacker Bryan Kehl off waivers and released linebacker Mario Addison.
Kehl spent training camp with the Redskins but was cut at the end of preseason. He has since played three games with the Kansas City Chiefs before being cut this week.
Kehl has also played with the New York Giants and St. Louis Rams in his five-year NFL career.
Robert Griffin III has become a force of nature at quarterback that not many people are ready or interested in dealing with. Last Thursday night, after his performance in Dallas, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said he was tired of dealing with RGIII already.
You can add another NFC East opponent to that group. After barely escaping the Washington Redskins a few weeks ago, New York Giants...
Let the trash talking begin between the New York Giants and Washington Redskins who will play against each other on Monday night football.
This is a big game for both teams as the Giants will look to extend their lead as the first place team in the NFC East division and the Redskins will try to extend their push to the playoffs.
Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz told the media...
Former Redskins great linebacker and head coach Jack Pardee is very, very sick with cancer.
Redskins rookies Robert Griffin III and Alfred Morris are up for awards this week. Go vote for them. UPDATE: It looks like RG3 lost Player of the Week honors to Pathers QB Cam Newton. For the second straight week the honor goes to the QB facing the Eagles defense.
