The Cowboys on Tuesday released cornerback LeQuan Lewis, who they brought in three weeks ago as they were getting ready to face Seattle's return ace, Leon Washington. Monday night, they got past a game against another return ace, Chicago's Devin Hester.
The move opens up a roster spot, and the Cowboys might use it to bring back safety Mana Silva, who was released a week ago.
Lewis had one tackle and one pass defensed in the regular defense.

Russell Wilson had a very rough outing this weekend versus the Rams
Russell Wilson had a rough go of it in Seattle’s 19-13 Week 4 loss to the Rams, completing 17-of-25 passes for just 160 yards, zero touchdowns and three interceptions. practice. But Carroll later backtracked...

When it comes to the most trusted, dignified journalists in American history, of course Geraldo Rivera will be forever atop the list. No one else has made a career out of being so right, all of the time, like the distinguished Mr. Rivera.
The latest example of Geraldo's class and dignity on television came as he discussed the Seattle Seahawks/Green Bay Packers controversial...
Seahawks MMQB: Miscues and missed opportunities as Seahawks lose 19-13
The better team won
I should re-phrase that, the team that played better on Sunday won. Hats off to the St. Louis Rams for the big divisional win. The Rams coaching staff put together a great game plan that put the team in position to win.
The players executed the plan and that is why they won. On the other side of the field, the Seattle Seahawks entered the Edward Jones Dome...
Moments in time…The Seattle Seahawks week that was
Silence of the lambs
With everything going right in the Seahawks world going into Sunday’s divisional matchup with St. Louis, the Hawks sure picked a bad time to let their true colors show.
Now the world can really see that the win the previous week was a fluke, and we are the the laughing stock of the NFL community.
Sure, there are worse teams that us, but to ride high with...
Seahawks vs. St Louis Rams: Things to love & hate from Sunday
Playing to their level

Leave it to the Seahawks, though, and they’ll surprise you in many ways. After looking stellar...
Bettor Geno DiFelice won $725,275 on Packers-Seahawks Hail Mary call
Amid the influx of horror stories we have heard about replacement officials and how awful they were for the game of football, there is at least one story that sticks out from all the rest. By blowing one of the biggest calls in NFL history and essentially handing the Seahawks a win over the Packers last week, the NFL’s replacement refs changed the lives of Branford, Ontario’s...
Is Matt Flynn the NFL’s Best Con Artist?
In 2008 the Green Bay Packers selected Matt Flynn in the 7th round with the 209th overall pick. That year, Flynn competed with Brian Brohm for a second-string roster spot behind Aaron Rodgers, a battle that Flynn won against all odds. Brohm had advantages in size, arm strength, and speed, yet Flynn managed to beat out his fellow rookie for the title of backup quarterback.Flynn...

Marshawn Lynch is proving the last season was not an illusion. He is carrying the load big time for the Seahawks and is fantasy owners that didn’t worry about his DUI suspension. Owners can kick back with some nuggets and watch him tear it up on Sunday against the Panthers.
