The hiring of Monte Kiffin sets the Cowboys up to fire Jason Garrett, and he doesn’t even know it. Jerry Jones has proved one thing - He can’t general manage a fruit stand let alone a football team. Bill Parcells installed a 3-4 defense and stocked it. Wade Phillips continued the process, and within a week, Jones ruined it. Don’t worry Cowboys fans, you’ll be rebuilding very soon. DeMarcus Ware isn’t a 4-3 defensive end, Jay Ratliff isn’t a 4-3 tackle, Sean Lee isn’t a deep middle linebacker, and Morris Claiborne along with Brandon Carr aren’t zone defenders. Mike Holmgren must be licking his chops at this move. Garrett wanted Ryan’s huge personality gone, probably because he coached circles around Garrett. Jones can cite examples of a fundamentally unsound defense, but that’s the Ryan brothers' trademark, unconventional and equally disruptive. We wonder why he didn't cite the egregious interceptions Tony Romo throws or the inordinate amount of false start penalties or...

  • I couldn't agree more. Once again,Jerry is arranging the chairs on the Titanic. Get ready for 5 more years of mediocrity. When will Cowboys fans tire of this old joke.
  • Some of what you are saying makes sense but you have to be the dumbest writer on the internet to say that Tony Romo is our Mark Sanchez... Romo is a 3 time Pro Bowler and throws for 4,000 yds EVERY season with one of the worst O-Line's in football... He has the 4th Highest QB Rating of ALL TIME... Mark Sanchez doesn't need to be mentioned in the same breath as Tony Romo and anyone who thinks he does knows nothing about football... Period!

No Surprise, Larry Allen is a Hall of Fame Finalist

If you want a lock for a first time ballot NFL Hall of Famer, look no further than Larry Allen. Allen just made it to the finalist list, and should be a lock for being voted into the HOF. Tony Romo is Playing in an Indoor Soccer League (Photos)

These photos provided by @LK419 shows Tony Romo in an awful uniform practicing with his Indoor Soccer Team.  It appears Romo, who they said suffered a broken rib during the final game of the season against the Redskins is doing just fine. Romo has a lot of outside interests beyond football.  He is a pretty good golfer and has a new born baby. Nothing wrong with getting some off...

Cowboys will likely let Anthony Spencer walk in free agency

ESPN’s Ed Werder reported on SportsCenter that the Dallas Cowboys will likely let linebacker Anthony Spencer walk in free agency. Spencer had a great season in 2012, with 11 sacks, but now that the Cowboys are switching from a 3-4 to a 4-3, he’s no longer a fit for them.   Need NFL Tickets? var _CI = _CI || {}; (function() { var script = document.createElement('script...

Cowboys would reportedly move DeMarcus Ware to defensive end in a 4-3

If the Dallas Cowboys end up hiring Monte Kiffin as their next defensive coordinator, they would then have to switch their base defense from a 3-4 to a 4-3. According to ESPN’s Ed Werder, the Cowboys are confident that DeMarcus Ware can play defensive end and Sean Lee can play middle linebacker. I honestly think Ware would be better as an end than he’s been as a linebacker, wheres...
