Cowboys Tight End Jake Ferguson & Haley Cavinder Closer Than Ever?
Eric Hartline-USA TODAY Sports

It appears that Dallas Cowboys second-year tight end Jake Ferguson is winning both on and off the field.

The Cowboys beat a divisional rival on Sunday in the New York Giants 49-17. Still, the most exciting news for Ferguson may have been that his rumored girlfriend, Haley Cavinder, will transfer to TCU for her senior year of college basketball.

Alongside her twin, Hanna, Haley comprises the other half of the celebrity Cavinder twin duo. Combined, the twins have a combined total of over 5.5 million followers on Instagram and TikTok.

Last college basketball season, the twins were a part of the Miami Hurricanes Elite Eight run in March Madness. However, both announced that they would forego their senior season and instead pursue business ventures until Haley changed her mind.

Cavinder averaged 12.2 points and four rebounds for the Hurricanes last year, earning second-team All-ACC honors. Playing at TCU means that Cavinder will be roughly 20 minutes from Ferguson and AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

In just his second season, Ferguson has found success in an increased role following the departure of receiving tight end Dalton Schultz after his rookie year. Ferguson had just 22 targets as a rookie through 16 games of action, but as a second-year NFL player, he's gotten 36 receptions of 50 targets in nine games.

Currently sitting at second in the NFC East, Dallas is still fighting to win the division this season, and Ferguson could be a big part of that push as the season continues to unfold. In the meantime, it seems he'll have Cavinder supporting him in the stands as he tries to elevate his game and help his team.
