For a team that hasn't made the playoffs the last two years, the Dallas Cowboys are slated to get a lot of TV exposure early in the 2012 NFL season.
The Cowboys will be featured in the first Monday night game of the preseason, the NFL announced Wednesday, with an Aug. 13 game at the Oakland Raiders. The game is set for a 7 p.m. kickoff Dallas time and will be televised on ESPN.
Earlier, the league announced the Cowboys and the Super Bowl champion New York Giants would play Sept. 5 in the first game of the regular season, the NFL Kickoff Classic. That game will be a special Wednesday kickoff at 7:30 p.m. in New Jersey and will be broadcast on NBC.
Cowboys-Raiders will be the third game of the 2012 preseason. The Arizona Cardinals and New Orleans Saints will play in the Pro Football Hall of Fame, the traditional start to the preseason, on Aug. 5.
The Green Bay Packers and San Diego Chargers will follow with a Thursday night game on Aug. 9.

My heroes have always been Cowboys.

Imagine my excitement when I was offered the opportunity to conduct a 15-minute phone interview with this legendary...

Sean Payton’s Saints dominated Bill Parcells’ Cowboys in 2006.
It is very possible that the New Orleans Saints will hire Bill Parcells to serve as the team’s interim head coach in 2012 while Sean Payton serves as a suspension. It has been six years since Parcells coached the Cowboys, so this is not exactly a Cowboys story. On the other hand, Payton was an assistant under...

You might remember a couple weeks ago when BC told you that Tony Romo had been playing in a Monday night men’s indoor soccer league. Word on the streets is that Romo moved to outdoor soccer competition over the weekend with a match at Premier Park, which hosts games for the North Texas Premier Soccer Association. That’s right, he’s playing in competitive, legit matches.
