NFL Injury Report:
Dallas Cowboys wide receiver pushed off surgery on his
broken left index finger until after the season so that he could continue to
play through the injury. While this allowed him to stay on the field – Bryant didn’t
miss a game due to the ailment – it meant that the finger would be permanently
damaged moving forward. Despite this permanent effect, Bryant told reporters –
including Carlos Mendez of The Star-Telegram – that he thinks he might be
catching the ball better with his finger the way it is now.
“It’s never going to be normal, but I promise you, it’s
never going to be an issue,” the Cowboys receiver said Wednesday at a charity
event in Arlington. “I’m ready to go and catch some footballs. I actually feel
like I’ve been catching better with the finger problem.”
To avoid surgery, Bryant continued taping his finger heavily
in order to play out the remainder of the season. He knew the finger would be
permanently damaged, but he continued playing. Bryant finished the 2012 season
with 92 receptions for 1,382 yards and 12 touchdowns.

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver’s Dez Bryant and Miles Austin have nothing but good things to say about rookie Terrence Williams.

Dez Bryant told reporters that his surgically-repaired finger will “never be normal but will never be an issue” according to Brandon George of the Dallas Morning News
Bryant opted to continue playing last season and to delay having surgery until the end of the season. Apparently Bryant did some permanent damage to his finger but it never showed on the football field.
Jean-Jacques Taylor of ESPNDallas.com believes third round pick Terrance Williams is an insurance policy for Miles Austin, who’s had a hard time staying on the field over the past two years.
Taylor believes Williams could end up taking over for Austin and I agree with him. His production was off the charts at Baylor. Williams had 1,832 yards receiving and 12 touchdowns last...

It's a well known fact that Tony Romo likes to play golf. It's also a fact that he happens to be quite good at it.Competing on several occasions in the annual Pro-Am at Pebble Beach, and trying on numerous times to qualify, albeit failing each time, for the U.S. Open.It is a hobby. Nothing more. If he wanted it to be more he would have dropped the shoulder pads for a pair...
