Love talking Rams football?  Check out RealSportsLounge.com! The Cruddy Show broadcasted for the first time ever on a Tuesday night and reviewed the St. Louis Rams 31-28 win over the Washington Redskins. One of the things the crew talked about was who has been the Rams MVP thus far through the first two games?  The consensus was split between wide receiver Danny Amendola and corner back Cortland Finnegan. Amendola has been a key for the Rams offense and it has been easy to see how he has made quarterback Sam Bradford better this season. Meanwhile, the Rams defense has been better too and has played with an edge and some confidence and Finnegan deserves a lot of that credit. Listen to the replay of Tuesday night's show as the group talks Rams and Mizzou football and about the St. Louis Cardinals wild card chances. Cortland Finnegan Defies Logic Once Again, Says He Likes Replacement Refs

Cortland Finnegan is one of the most unique players in the NFL. At every turn, the St. Louis Rams cornerback will find a way to somehow defy logic and surprise you. On Wednesday, Finnegan continued his defiant ways, this time in reference to the NFL's replacement officials. When asked about the replacements before practice on Wednesday, Finnegan actually let on that he likes...

Notoriously dirty defensive back, Cortland Finnegan, loves the replacement refs

Nobody in the NFL is a fan of the replacement refs. They have undoubtedly done a poor job, through little fault of their own, due to the fact that they weren’t prepared to do the job. They have struggled to understand the rules of the pro game, and have often times been timid when it [...]

Week 2 Fantasy Football: Danny Amendola Among Biggest Surprises

Another week in the books for the NFL, and once again there were five players who scored a ton of fantasy points that came out of nowhere.A lot of us who play fantasy are already scouring the waiver wire in hopes of picking up someone to help their fledgling team. These five guys are going to stand out due to their Week 2 performances. But before you go making add drops take a look...

Short memory keeps Rams' Amendola focused

ST. LOUIS The memory remains. But it has been cut and creased and crumpled and buried deep in Danny Amendola's mind, because this is a new week and life goes on. He dresses near his locker Wednesday at Rams Park, to the right of a flatscreen television that replayed his Week 2 performance as he scrambled for a mid-afternoon meeting two days earlier. Amendola caught 15 passes...

Scab Refs Have to Get Some Control Over Games

Rams CB Cortland Finnegan has always taken pride in getting in the heads of opposing players. The scab refs inability to control the tone of games can benefit players like him. I hope that we’ve seen enough of the fill-in refs to stop the whole narrative of “well the real refs miss calls too” and start being honest with ourselves. The fake refs are losing control of games and...

The Skins loss IS on Josh Morgan

Josh Morgan commits 15 yard personal foul penalty by throwing the ball at Cortland Finnegan Yesterday in the Redskins loss to the Rams, Josh Morgan made one of the worst boneheaded plays I have ever seen. Down 3 with 1:19 to play, the Redskins offense managed to get themselves in field goal range on a third down pass to Josh Morgan (we will excuse the fact that he should have...

Rams go Bear hunting as cities collide in Week 3

The St. Louis Rams stroll into the Windy City this Sunday to face a Chicago Bears team led by Head Coach Lovie Smith, the beloved ex-defensive coordinator of the 2001 hay day St. Louis Rams.  Though the St. Louis faithful remember Lovie Smith, there is a distain between these two cities that extends from both baseball and hockey rivals.  This further extends to football, and should...

Redskins WR Josh Morgan Won’t Be Disciplined for Throwing Ball at Cortland Finnegan

That’s right Josh, a Wide Receiver catches the ball he doesn’t throw it. Now you’ve got it. Just a brief update on Redskins WR Josh Morgan who lost his cool after  Cortland Finnegan slapped him on the head. Redskins Coach Mike Shanahan said he won’t punish Josh Morgan for the mistake. He also said that he didn’t even pull Josh aside to talk about it rather addressed...

What We’ve Learned After Two Weeks

Here are some things we know with two weeks of the 2012 NFL regular season in the books: Seth Perlman/AP Danny Amendola should be owned in all leagues, PPR or not. For years the rub on Danny Amendola has been that, when healthy, he is a Wes Welker-type receiver who will catch a lot of balls but will have trouble accumulating yards after the catch or reaching pay dirt. He’s been...

Week 3 Fantasy Football Waiver Claims

WR Danny Amendola (St. Louis) Percent owned (ESPN): 15.7% Danny Amendola is by far Sam Bradford’s favorite target and with Bradford looking improved early in the season, expect Amendola to put up good numbers the rest of the way, until further notice. In 2 games, he’s caught 20 passes for 230 yards and a score and half been the recipient on close to half of the Rams’ receiving...

Redskins' Morgan says he's received death threats

Washington Redskins wide receiver Joshua Morgan's fourth-quarter mistake Sunday has led to him seeing the ugly side of social media. Morgan told reporters that he's received death threats and other sadistic messages on Twitter after taking an unsportsmanlike penalty for throwing the ball at the St. Louis Rams' Cortland Finnegan. The penalty cost the Redskins field position...

Washington Redskins Lose To St. Louis Rams: What Went Wrong?

How exactly do the Redskins plan to win more games this season? Certainly not with good defense, apparently.Sixteen catches by Danny Amendola, breaking a more than fifty year old Rams' single game record for receptions.I'm sorry, but if I'm coaching defense in a National Football League game, I'm putting two guys on Amendola, on every down, after he catches pass number...

Week 3 Fantasy Football Pick Ups

Struggling after the first two weeks of the fantasy season? Solid team looking for good players to stash on your bench? Either way, you should check this out. Danny Amendola WR, St. Louis Rams – He had a huge day against the Redskins. Will he continue to get huge numbers? Well, unlike Dallas’ Kevin Ogletree, I think Amendola has a better chance of keeping it up. The Rams don’t...
