My Sports Rumors:
Victor Cruz has been out of New York Giants practice for a couple weeks because of a bruised left heel but was there any doubt that he’d be on the field once camp was over? We’ve now officially entered Week One of the NFL season and Cruz was right back on the practice field and participating fully. There’s no doubt that the Dallas Cowboys are going to have to deal with him Sunday night.
Giants WR Victor Cruz back at practice, appeared to be full go in individual drills.

What encourages me the most isn’t that he was at practice but how he looked. Eli Manning says Cruz was running full speed and looked very sharp, so it looks like the rest did him some good.
“It’s good to have all your weapons out there,” Manning said. “(Victor) is on of our top receivers. It’s good to have him out there running around and I’m excited he’ll be back this opening game. He looked sharp (today). He had his full speed.” (NJ Star-Ledger)

Even though Giants defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul was back at practice today, it doesn’t sound he’ll be ready to go for Sunday night’s opener against the Cowboys. Giants head coach Tom Coughlin is concerned with his conditioning since he’s been recovering from back surgery.
Coughlin still has some concerns about JPP's conditioning. Sounds like Cruz is much more likely...

I have lived in New England for almost my entire life as my parents moved my family from Northern New Jersey to the suburbs of Boston, Massachusetts when I was three years old. I no longer live in the "Bay State", but I still live in New England which would explain why when I talk to people about what football team that I root for, I get that quizzical look after giving...
